Day 1: Lima – Paracas – Huacachina

06.00 - 10.00: Pickup at your hostel in Lima. Direct bus to Paracas. Paracas is a beautiful small town by the sea.

10.00 - 12.00: 2 Hour Boat Tour of the Ballestas Islands – The Ballestas are the cheaper version of the Galapagos. Take a speedboat to the rocky Islands where you will see sea lions, penguins and lots of birds in their natural habitat. If you're lucky you may even spot dolphins!

13.00 – 14.15: Direct Bus from Paracas to Huacachina. Huacachina is a small natural oasis located in the Ica desert.

16.30 - 18.30: 2-hour Dune Buggy and Sandboarding Tour– Ride the Dune Buggies up and sandboard down the biggest dunes in South America. A once in a lifetime experience at South America's only Desert Oasis.

18:00 - next day Night in Huacachina. Enjoy some food or drinks around one of the many restaurants/bars around the oasis!

Day 2: Huacachina to Lima

10.30 - 12.30: Tour of the Pisco Vineyard - see how Pisco, the national drink of Peru, is made from the grape to the bottle and try lots of free samples!

15:00 - 19:00: Free time in Huacachina - relax by the pool in the all year long sunshine or enjoy the stunning views atop the dunes while catching the beautiful sunset.

19.00 - 23.45: Bus back to Lima, drop off at your hotel/hostel.

NOTE: For the Easter (Semana Santa) weekend the Ballestas tours on these dates will last only one and a half hours in duration and the Sandboarding/dune-buggy (Huacachina) will last ONLY 1 hour. This is the same for ALL tour operators.

Within 7 days of the departure, 40% of the ticket price (+ the card fee). Within 3 days of the departure, 60% of the ticket price (+ the card fee). Within 24 hours of departure, a no show, or after departure 100% cancellation fee.
