This is a 2 day short tour to the stunning desert oasis of Huacachina, stopping to visit the Pacific beach town of Paracas and visit the “Poor Man’s Galapagos” on the way down. In Huacachina combine Sandboarding/Dunebuggying followed by a flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines the next day for a great 2-day escape from Lima.

Day 1: Lima – Paracas – Huacachina

Pickup at your hotel/hostel in Lima. Direct bus to Paracas, a beautiful small town by the sea.
10:00am – 12:00pm
2 hour boat tour of the Ballestas Islands. The Ballestas are a smaller version of the Galapagos, but just as great, where you’ll see sea lions, penguins and lots of birds all in there natural habitat.
13:00pm – 14:15pm
Direct bus from Paracas to Huacachina, a small natural oasis located in the Ica desert.
16:00pm – 18:00pm
2 hours of dune buggying and sandboarding – Ride the dune buggies up and sandboard down the biggest dunes in South America. A once in a lifetime experience in the only natural desert oasis in South America.
Day 2: Huacachina – Nazca – Lima

Private transport from Huacachina to Nazca airport.

- You must bring your original passport with you to board the flight in Nazca.
- Passengers who exceed the weight limit of 95 kg, will have to pay for an additional seat.
CHANGES: Changes to the time and date of this tour are free until 6:00pm (Lima time) 2 days before the tour begins. After this time there is a 100% change fee.
CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel before 6:00pm (Lima time) 7 days before the tour begins or earlier, there is a 20% administration fee (+ the card fee). Within 7 days of the departure, 40% of the ticket price (+ the card fee). Within 3 days of the departure, 60% of the ticket price (+ the card fee). Within 24 hours of departure, a no show, or after departure 100% cancellation fee.

What is the best way to get from the airport to Miraflores?
Miraflores now has a direct bus link between it and the airport in Callao (Jorge Chavez International Airport) via the new official service Airport Express Lima. These new luxury buses are equipped with free wifi and usb charging ports at every seat. Tickets are $8 one way.
