This is a 2 day short tour to Baños, considered the adventure capital of Ecuador. On the way from Quito to Baños, we’ll make stops at the stunning Cotopaxi Volcano as well as the Quilotoa Lagoon, an unbelievable turquoise lake in the caldera of an active volcano. Once in Baños, you’ll enjoy a number of wonderful activities set against a beautiful backdrop of waterfalls and tropical greenery.

The first day you will see the majestic Cotopaxi Volcano, one of Ecuador’s most famous sights and one of the highest volcanoes in the world, at the Chuquiragua Lodge, where we will have the chance to enjoy a delicious breakfast.
We will go to Quilotoa to visit the lookout point for the incredible Quilotoa Lagoon, located inside the crater of an active volcano. We continue our way to Baños and ones we arrive there you will have time to have lunch.
Around 4 pm we will go to ride the “Swing at the End of the World” at La Casa del Árbol where you can look out at the epic Mt. Tungurahua Volcano and the vast Ecuadorian wilderness below. You will have the option to go for a dip in some relaxing natural thermal baths and spend the night in Baños.
The next morning after the breakfast we will visit the stunning Pailon del Diablo (Devil’s Cauldron) waterfall also you can ride a cable car over the Pastaza River for extraordinary panoramic views of waterfalls, mountains, and beautiful jungle landscapes.
*Optional visit to the San Martín Adventure Park for zip-lining, canopy walks, rock climbing, trekking and more (additional cost of $20).
After all the activities we will depart Baños in the late afternoon and begin the trip back to Quito.

CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel before 6:00pm (Quito time) 7 days before the tour begins, there is a 20% administration fee. Within 7 days of the departure, 40% of the ticket price. Within 3 days of the departure, 60% of the ticket price. Within 24 hours of departure, a no show, or after departure 100% cancellation fee.

What should I bring to the tour?
