A day full of fun and adventure! In the morning, we board our Land Rover Defender and head north on the island, via La Ruta Nacional Number 3. We will pass the most famous winter resorts, including el Cerro Castor, which is the most famous ski resort in Ushuaia. We then go to cross the Cordillera de los Andes and start our 4X4 adventure.

As we get going on the road, we will pass beautiful neighbourhoods, and see the stunning shore of Lago Fagnano. After enjoying the unique energy of this location, we continue our adventure with a walk through the woods to an exclusive location at Lago Escondido. We then will enjoy a gourmet roast and some good wine for lunch. After lunch, we will hop into canoes and paddle around Lago Escondido. After travelling on the canoes, we will return to the city of Ushuaia. The group will always be accompanied by our expert guides.

2. What kind of weather can we find in Ushuaia?

   October to May are the warmest months, without snow. January is the hottest month, with an average temperature of 10°C (50°F), while May to October are the coldest. From December to February, Ushuaia has the highest temperatures, and 18 hours of light a day. Winters in Ushuaia get very few hours of daylight. Therefore, summer months are best for hiking and trekking, while skiing is popular in wintertime.

3. What should I bring to the tour?

   You should bring plenty of warm and dry clothing, as weather can by both chilly and windy throughout the year. Also, take comfortable shoes, a bottle of water, sunscreen, a camera, and extra cash.
