The tour to Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande begins with high quality transportation towards the Costa Verde region. This area extends from the southern coast of Rio de Janeiro, to the northern coast of São Paulo. In two hours, you’ll arrive to the city of Angra dos Reis, where you’ll board the schooner at the port of Angra. Here starts the real adventure, with the boat tour navigating by Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande bay, to visit the paradisiacal islands and golden beaches.

Boat Tour Itinerary

Ilha de Cataguases: This island has a peculiar formation, as it’s made by two small land masses that originated from the Serra do Mar mountain range. It's one of the most beautiful islands of the Bay of Ilha Grande.

Lagoa Azul: A natural aquarium where you’ll find one of the finest diving spots on Ilha Grande. This is a massive pool with clear water, and floating around at the bottom you’ll see clusters of starfish, as well as squids, corals, and shoals of colorful fish. Don’t forget your bathing suit!

Ponta da Piedade: This beach, with 150 metres of calm, clear water and fine sand, is perfect for those who wish to take a refreshing swim. At the end of the beach in Ponta da Piedade, there’s the small Igreja da Piedade (Church of Mercy).

Ilhas Botinas: Also known as Ilhas Gêmeas (Twin Islands), this place is the main postcard image of the city of Angra dos Reis. The key attractions are the incredibly clear waters and white sands, and it's a mandatory stopping point for the boats and schooners. The depth of the water here reaches 10 metres, ideal for diving.

The total duration of the tour is approximately 12 hours. Lunch is served on board the boat, with a vegetarian option available. During the tour, you can also buy drinks, snacks and desserts.

NO SHOWS & CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel before 6:00 pm (Brasilia time) 4 days before the tour begins a 10% administration fee will apply. After this time there is a 100% no show or cancellation fee.
