We start the adventure with pick-up from hotels or hostels located in the central area of Arequipa. We will go to the base where you will get the equipment and the bicycle.

Las Rocas Park: We will go to the district of Alto Selva Alegre, where we will find the Parque de Las Rocas. The journey from the city to the park will take about half an hour. We will have the option of accessing through the Hoyos Rubios sector or through the Chilina side, enjoying the scenery along the way.

Mountain bike exploration: Once in Las Rocas Park, we will prepare for the exciting mountain bike adventure. For 2 hours, we will visit the park and the beautiful Valley of Chilina on mountain bikes. Depending on the capacity of the group, we can cover between 20 to 40 kilometers, enjoying the diversity of terrains and landscapes.

Las Rocas Park: During the bike tour, you will have the opportunity to admire the fascinating rock formations that have been shaped by water and wind erosion over time. These rocks have zoomorphic figures, resembling animal profiles, which create a magical and unique atmosphere.

Panoramic viewpoints: In the park, you will find three viewpoints strategically located from where you can appreciate the impressive views of the Chilina Valley and the Chili River. enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds you and capture unforgettable moments.

Fauna and flora: Las Rocas Park is home to a wide diversity of fauna and flora. During the tour by bicycle, you will be able to observe lizards and vizcachas that move throughout the park. In addition, you will have the possibility of spotting foxes and snakes, which are part of this unique ecosystem.

Sacred Huaca: As a finishing touch, we will visit the sacred huaca, an archaeological site that belongs to the Churajon culture. This historic and holy place will allow us to connect with the region's rich history and legacy culture.

Return: After enjoying an exciting bike ride and exploring the Parque de Las Rocas, we will start the return to the city of Arequipa, where we will leave you in the central area of the city.

   We do request that passengers have optimal physical condition since it is a pedaling route (it is not downhill) It is ideal for passengers who usually do pedaling routes of 20km or more regularly. Otherwise, you might not complete the circuit.

3. Do I need to prepare for the tour?

   Wear comfortable clothing, a windbreaker jacket, and sneakers/trainers. A healthy breakfast or lunch is advised, and sunscreen is recommended.
