The Big Dude Tour is the most comfortable and convenient way to check out the must-see attractions of Rio: Christ the Redeemer Statue, Lapa Selaron Steps, Tijuca Forest National Park, and others!

This amazing Rio day tour goes as follows:

Hotel pick-up by mini-bus (southern zone locations only, including Ipanema, Leblon and Copacabana). Please note that travelers staying outside of the southern zone are requested to meet in front of Copacabana Palace Hotel for pick-up at 9:30am.

We will stop firstly at São Conrado to watch the hang gliders land on the beach. The second stop will be at Tijuca Forest for a walk around the park to experience a real rainforest. The third stop will be made at the famous Christ Statue for a visit to the top (ticket included).

Next, we will drive to Santa Teresa for a lunch break (food not included), followed by a walk around the neighborhood. After, we will drive to Lapa for a visit to the colorful steps “Escadaria Selaron”, made famous by Snoop Dog in his music video “Beautiful”. On the journey back to the hotel, there’ll be an option of a drop-off at Sugarloaf Mountain (ticket not included) to catch the sunset.

Pick-up is available from the following neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro: Gloria, Catete, Flamengo, Copacabana, Botafogo, Ipanema, Leblon. The local transport provider will confirm the exact time of your hotel pick-up by email. It can be at any time between 9:00am and 10:30am, depending on the location of your hotel.

CHANGES: It is FREE to change the tour date before 6:00 pm (Brasilia time) 3 days before the tour begins.

NO SHOWS & CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel before 6:00 pm (Brasilia time) 3 days before the tour begins a 10% administration fee will apply. After this time there is a 100% no show or cancellation fee.
