Prepare yourself for all types of weather conditions, as the weather in Cajas National Park can change between rain and sunshine.
Your guided trip from Cuenca to Cajas National Park starts at 9:00 am. During the two breath-taking hikes of about 2 hours each, you will observe the special fauna and flora of the Páramo (a high South American ecosystem). There are lagoons of glacial origin and a Polylepis forest, known as “paper trees”. At around 4:30 pm you will be back in Cuenca.
