DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Your day begins at the Geotours’ office, where you will be fitted with appropriate gear. From there, you’ll enjoy the scenic ride to Rio Blanco. After a short trek into the canyon, your guide will give a comprehensive safety briefing, followed by an opportunity to practice abseiling down a dry rock wall.

The fun begins at our first waterfall of 15 metres. The challenge and thrills continue, with subsequent waterfalls of 18m and 25m, leaving the best ‘til last: The grand finale of 35 metres in height! Following this adrenaline-fuelled activity, you can look forward to a tasty lunch.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  1. Is it safe?

Yes! In fact, this kind of adventure tour is one of the safest, because we have a specific security strategy, supported by policies and procedures which are clearly defined and tested. In order to guarantee the highest operational standard, our highly qualified canyoning guides are experienced and well-grounded in the technical know-how. We provide top-of-the-line canyoning equipment (wet suit, helmet, harness).

  2. What is Canyoning?

Canyoning is an unforgettable outdoor experience. It is not just a water sport, it’s adventure, it’s nature, it’s fun! Navigate your way down steep canyons by abseiling and jumping waterfalls and cliffs, cascading down natural chutes, and swimming through crystal-clear pools. 80% of the time is spent in the water!

  3. Who can do Canyoning?

Everyone, except for children under 12 years old.

  4. Can I bring my camera / video camera?

A general rule of thumb is don't bring anything you would be devastated to lose. Video cameras and still cameras will get wet, and most likely ruined. A good idea is a disposable waterproof camera.
