Your adrenaline-filled adventure will start with a short 15-minute drive, going from the agency to the waterfalls. We will give you the necessary equipment, and after a 20-minute walk, we’ll arrive at the top of the canyon. There, the guide will give you an explanation and a demonstration on how to use the equipment, as well as some safety instructions.

To practice, we will start on a small waterfall (our route has 5 waterfalls, ranging from 8 to 35 metres in height).

After practicing, we will descend waterfalls of different heights, doing some rappelling and sliding. We will use a waterproof camera and give you the most amazing pictures after the tour. Finally, we will collect the equipment from you, and return to Baños.

3. Who can do Canyoning?

   Everyone, except for children under 9 years old, people with physical problems or disabilities, or pregnant women.

4. Can I bring my camera / video camera?

   A general rule of thumb is don't bring anything you would be devastated to lose. Video cameras and still cameras will get wet, and most likely ruined. A good idea is a disposable waterproof camera.

5. Do I need to know how to swim?

   We always go by the rule “safety first”, so we provide you with life-vest and carry a rescue tube - in this way you will have buoyancy and will feel comfortable and safe in the water.

6. What time zone is used in Baños?

   Local time in Baños is GMT -5, the same as on Ecuador's mainland.

7. What kind of weather can we find in Baños?

   This is a destination which experiences year-round sunshine. The average annual temperature is 25°C (75°F), with the warmest month being November, and the coolest being July. April is the wettest month, and February is the driest, although the rainy season runs from January through to December – these months can be hot, humid, and rainy.
