IMPORTANT:

June 7th and 8th, Cathedral will be closed.

The adventure starts at 1 pm, we’ll begin by picking you up from your hotel/hostel in Cuzco and heading to the famous Cusco Cathedral; inside we’ll take a look at its chapels, altars, etc. while our guide explains the significance of all you see.

Next, we will walk to the temple of Qoriqancha, the "Temple of the Sun”. Here you can see and enjoy the marvels of Inca architecture embodied in this palace, and at the same time the beauty of the Catholic influence, as the Spanish colonists constructed their churches on Inca foundations.

From the temple of Qoriqancha we’ll leave the city’s urban area by mini-bus, and take our journey to 4 of the most incredible archaeological sites in Cuzco.

Our first stop will be in Sacsayhuaman, with its giant stones and its immense historical and cultural value, the perfect place to learn and discover the meaning and importance of Inca ceremonial places and constructions (this is the temple where the Inti Raymi takes place).

Then, just 5 minutes away from Sacsayhuaman, we will reach Qenqo, for an immersive experience at its magical altar and labyrinth-type paths. After, you will appreciate the archaeological sites of Puka Pukara (Red Fort) that served as military and administrative place for the Incas, and Tambomachay (Temple of Water) a ceremonial place with beautiful cascades and aqueducts used to worship the water and as a resting place for the Incas.

Finally, our tour will end back in Cuzco’s city center (San Francisco square).

Important: Easter weekend holidays the Cathedral is closed. (25th, 28th and 29th) and the tour will start 1 hour later.

Note: If you are staying at a different location than the one you select as your pick up location, it is explicitly your responsibility to be at the main entrance of the hotel or hostel selected as your pick up location for the duration of the pickup time range on your tour date. You must be in a visible place easy to see for the operator and be alert for their vehicle/guide when they go to pick you up for the tour.
