The cooking lesson starts at either 11:00 am or 4:00 pm, and includes pick up and drop off at the customer’s hotel. The class starts with a 30-minute tour of the traditional open-air San Pedro market. Afterwards, we will head to the 11th floor Rooftop Kitchen facility - with breath-taking views of the city - to start the cooking lesson. The cooking class is on the 11th floor. You will have to take the lift up to level 10 and then walk up to level 11.
The class consists of the preparation of an appetizer, main course, and pisco sour. We also offer vegetarian options (please specify when you reserve). The lesson lasts approximately 2 hours.
COCKTAIL:
PISCO SOUR
A traditional Peruvian cocktail prepared with pisco, lime juice, simple sugar syrup, egg whites, and bitters.

TROUT TIRADITO (Fennel and olive oil trout tiradito with red quinoa and red wine glazed turnips).

QUINOA QUINOTTO (Red Quinoa quinotto with wild mushrooms and blue cheese)
VEGETARIAN OPTION:
Appetizer:
Vegetarian ceviche with tarwi, fresh sprouts, mushrooms, mango, onions, yellow
pepper, garlic, and red quinoa marinated in a dressing of fennel and olive oil.
Main Course:
Delicious and nutritious red quinoa cooked with wild mushrooms, sautéed in olive oil, with onions, fresh seasonal vegetables, yellow pepper, garlic, ginger, and baby lettuce from our
garden.

CHANGES: It is FREE to change the tour date before 6:00 pm (Lima time) 2 days before the tour begins.
NO SHOWS & CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel 2 days prior to the tour before 6:00 pm (Lima time) or earlier, a 10% administration fee (+ the card fee) will apply. After this time, there is a 100% no-show or cancellation fee.

What is included in the tour?
Pick-up from your hotel, a culinary tour of a traditional Peruvian Market, a hands-on cooking class where you make a pisco sour, an appetizer and a main course, and return to your hotel.

Is this experience suitable for children?
We recommend that children should be 10 years or older, as we use knives and fire in the class.
Do I get to cook or is this a demonstration class?
This is a hands-on class with individual cooking stations, where you will make everything you eat.
