FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  1. Is the bike tour safe?

Yes, the bike tour is absolutely safe. For 80% of the tour, we cycle on protected bike paths, and for the rest we bike through quiet streets to avoid traffic as much as possible. Furthermore, apart from the leading guide, all groups are escorted by an extra helping guide, there to assist you anytime you need.

  2. What happens in case of rain?

Our tours are not cancelled if rain has been forecast. That is why we recommend you to come to our shop even if it rains, because is highly probable that the tour will run anyway. Only in extreme weather conditions will a tour be cancelled (and always at our shop, never before the departing time of the tour). If this is the case, you’ll be able to choose between the reimbursement, or rescheduling of your tour.

  3. Is the bike tour easy for everyone?

Yes, our bike tours are designed to be as easy as possible. Buenos Aires is a flat city, so anyone of any fitness level and condition can handle the whole ride without getting too tired. Don't worry, you’ll still be able to dance tango for hours after you finish cycling!

  4. Do we stop for pictures?

Yes, we stop many times at the main sights of Buenos Aires. There, you will be able to have a rest from pedalling, take your photos, and listen while the guides tell you fascinating anecdotes, secrets, and all you need to know about the different attractions and neighbourhoods of the city.

  5. How large are the groups?

Groups are no larger than 12-14 people (that’s why booking in advance is essential). If the group is bigger than that, we will split the tour into two smaller groups, or send the group with extra guides. Safety first!

  6. Do we stop for lunch?

The morning tours finish at around 1.30pm at our shop, which is surrounded by really cool places to grab a bite to eat. In the afternoon tours, we will have a break at around 4.30pm, and those who want to have snack or sit down for a coffee can do so. In any case, we recommend you to have breakfast or lunch before joining your tour (except of course if you have booked for our delicious food tour - in that case, come very hungry)!

  7. Who can do this tour?

Everyone, except children under 12 years old, who should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  8. What should I bring to the tour?

You should bring comfortable clothes, walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses and extra cash (for tips and personal expenses).

  9. What kind of weather can we find in Buenos Aires?

January is the hottest month in Buenos Aires, with an average temperature of 25°C (76°F). The coldest month is July, at 12°C (53°F). February is the month with the most daily sunshine hours, at 9, and January is the wettest month, with an average of 100mm of rain.
