The meeting points are the Tourist Information Centers located at Jose Larco Ave. 799 and Diagonal Ave. 494 (next to Kennedy Park). From there, the group will head to downtown Lima on the famous means of transportation, the Metropolitano. After approximately 25 minutes of travel, we will walk to our first stop, the Plazuela de la Merced. Here you can admire the impressive façade of the church of La Merced, as well as learn what this square has to do with the market.

From here we will head towards the Central Market, while commenting on important elements of the city of Lima that we can find in these blocks, such as the Torre Tagle Manor and San Pedro church, among others.

In a few minutes, we will arrive at the Central Market, where we will be given safety and orientation indications, and then we will enter and walk through some of its aisles. Here, we will taste some seasonal fruits and learn about different products and life in the market, having the option for travelers to take the opportunity to do some shopping.

After this experience, we will go to Capon Street in Lima's Chinatown, where we will be able to find different stores, and some restaurants among them, where we will have the opportunity to taste classic Chinese snacks - Dim Sum. Here we will learn a little more about the great history of the Chinese community in Peru and their contribution to our culture. There we will finish our tour, and if you want to come back with us to Miraflores, we will head back to the Metropolitano station.
