The meeting points are the Tourist Information Centers located at Jose Larco Ave. 799 and Diagonal Ave. 494 (next to Kennedy Park). From here, the group will travel together to Lima Downtown, taking the famous Lima Metropolitano transport system along the way. After approximately 25 minutes of travel, we will arrive at our first stop - Neptune Park, where we will check the former walking area of Lima while we head towards the Civic Center, where we can find the Real Plaza shopping mall, the Paseo de los Heroes Navales and the Palace of Justice, among others.

Afterward, we will walk towards San Martín Square. Here, travelers can admire Neo colonial architectural style buildings as well as learn about the interesting details of the building's history.

After San Martin Square, we will pass through Jirón de la Unión, one of the busiest and most commercial streets in downtown Lima. For many years the most important road in the city, characterized by being the most aristocratic and where the most famous inhabitants met.

In this street, we will find beautiful buildings that are part of the "World Heritage Site of UNESCO".

Our next destination is La Plaza Mayor. Here we will be able to check out the municipality of Lima & the famous Cathedral of Lima - whose construction dates back more than 300 years!

Then, as our journey continues, we will arrive at "The House of Peruvian Literature". A cultural center where visitors can learn more about renowned Peruvian writers.

We will continue our tour in San Francisco church known for its famous catacombs, and subterranean tunnels where the ancient inhabitants of Lima were buried.

For our last stop we will go to the “Wall’s Park”, from where we will learn about the history of the walls that protected the city of the Kings; as well as Rimac, one of the oldest districts in Lima.

Travelers should note that access to the main square can depend on a lot of factors that can vary from day to day. Should that situation arise we have multiple alternative routes planned that will also give you the perfect excuse to explore the most picturesque settings Lima Downtown has to offer!
