Our guided tour to the largest Inca ruins in Ecuador starts in Cuenca. On our way there, we will visit the Santuario de La Virgen del Rocio in the quiet village of Biblián (Wednesdays and Fridays). On Sundays, you will have the possibility to go to the Cañari market. In Ingapirca, your guide will show you around this fascinating complex of ruins, where its stone structures surround the prominent circular sun temple. After exploring the archaeological site and its surroundings to your heart’s content, you will enjoy a tasty lunch.

Cancellations: If you cancel before 5:00 pm (Quito time) 2 days before the tour begins, a 10% administration fee will apply. After this time, there is a 100% cancellation fee.

   Local time in Ingapirca is GMT -5, the same as on Ecuador's mainland.

2. What kind of weather can we find in Ingapirca?

   You will be in a mild year-round climate, with an average annual temperature of 20°C (68°F). From January to April it can be hot and humid, sometimes it rains a lot. The driest months are from July to August, and the coolest month is July.

3. What should I bring to the tour?

   You should bring money for tips and personal expenses, drinks, and your video camera or camera. Also, the entrance fee to Ingapirca is $6 USD.
