Minimum age: 4 years old – Must have parent's permission
We start our tour from Kokopelli hostel at 6 am. Here you will receive basic instructions on how to row in kayaks.
We will navigate approximately 3.5 km, making stops at safety buoys until we reach our destination, known as "The House of the Flamencos" which is home to different species of endemic and migratory birds, it is likely that we can see dolphins, depending on the season.
The routes in the morning are precisely at that time since there is no wind or movement of the sea.
Note: It is allowed for pregnant women and non-swimmers.
- Transfer back to Kokopelli (tuc tuc or motorcycle taxi)
- Instruction and safety equipment (life jackets)
- Kayak tour of the bay

CHANGES: Any changes to the tour date needs to be done before 6:00 pm (Lima time) the day before the tour begins.
NO SHOWS & CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel the day prior to the tour before 6:00 pm (Lima time) or earlier a 10% administration fee will apply (+ the card fee). After this time there is a 100% no show or cancellation fee.

Is there a pick up?
No, we meet at Kokopelli hostel. Paracas is a tiny village, just a couple of hundred meters long,
Is it safe to do the tour?
Absolutely! Life jackets are provided for every traveler and the kayak has regular maintenance checks to make sure everything is perfect for the activity.
Is it necessary to have experience kayaking to do the route?
Not at all, on the route we will row 200 meters from the shore. The kayaks are totally stable, the crew members wear high-quality life jackets, and you will have a brief instruction before heading to sea.
Will the flamingos be seen up close?
We will see flamingos in all their splendor just a few meters away and if we are very lucky we will see dolphins swimming and playing very close to us, penguins, sea lions and other types of migratory and endemic birds.
