What time zone is used in Natal?
Local time in Natal is GMT -3, the same as on Brazil's mainland.
What kind of weather can we find in Natal?
Natal has a hot and humid tropical climate, with little temperature variation throughout the year. It rains a great deal - this is a rainforest area, after all - but there is a “dry” season between September and January, when the rainfall lessens. Cool trade winds blowing in off the coast help to keep temperatures bearable, but high humidity can make the air feel sticky. February and March are the hottest months in Natal, with an average temperature of 32°C (°F), and the coldest are July and August at 22°C (°F).
What should I bring to the tour?
You should bring comfortable clothes, walking shoes, a swimsuit and towel, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and a raincoat (for rainy season). Don't forget to bring your camera and extra cash for any personal expenses.
What is the difference between the motorboat and the catamaran?
The motorboat is a small but faster type of boat. A maximum of 12 passengers are allowed on board. On the other hand, the catamaran is a big but slower type of boat. A limit of 50 passengers can be on board.
Who can snorkel?
Everyone, except for children under 5 years old. For safety reasons and requirements of the Port Authority, children under 5 years old cannot board the boat or snorkel.
