The morning tour departs from Baños at 9:00am and returns at 12:00pm. The afternoon tour departs at 4:00pm and returns at 7:00pm.

It’s time to experience freedom and flying! For this activity, we will go from Baños to Puntzan, a hillside near the Tungurahua volcano, which is covered in a cloud forest with stunning greenery.

There are 6 steel cables installed, and the total length of the zipline course is 2000 metres. The cables gradually extend in length and increase in height. We will start with the shortest, which is 20 metres high, and then move to the largest which is at a height of 80 metres.

1. What is Zip Lining/Canopy?

   Zip Lining or Canopy is an activity in which steel cables and platforms are strung at various heights between trees. The pulleys (which are suspended on the steel cables) are designed to be driven by gravity, and slide from the top to the bottom along the cables.
