We’ll meet at the office and depart at 10:00am, heading 10 minutes out of Baños. Our destination: The second longest zipline in the whole of South America! It is a single cable, and is approximately 1 kilometre long, with a flight duration of about 40 to 50 seconds. The zip line has an automatic braking system, and all equipment that is used has passed many safety tests and has multiple accreditations.

We’ll depart from Rio Blanco at 10:20am, and be back in Baños at 10:30am.

Cancellations: If you cancel before 5:00 pm (Quito time) 2 days before the tour begins, a 10% administration fee will apply. After this time, there is a 100% cancellation fee.

1. What is Zip Lining/Canopy?

   Zip Lining or Canopy is an activity in which steel cables and platforms are strung at various heights between trees. The pulleys (which are suspended on the steel cables) are designed to be driven by gravity, and slide from the top to the bottom along the cables.
